That poor, poor Cintiq. 
Generally I haven't had much trouble with the one I've had about a week, save for 3 wonky pixels....the pen lag isn't too bad once you get used to it. I'd think it Honestly, I think my intuos3 had some of that too, especially with custom brushes set to large.
However I CAN see why it'd get on some people's nerves.
